We specialise in intimate, luxurious and bespoke weddings for up to 80 guests for the ceremony & wedding breakfast (with 30 additional guests for the evening’s entertainment). What you do is up to you! Whether that will be dancing the night away, gathering around the bar or creating memories around our firepits. We provide accommodation for up to 22 of your closest family and friends in our beautifully restored Georgian farmhouse, set in the serene and picturesque Yorkshire Dales.

Yes. On-site parking is available for some of your guests, especially for those staying. However, it is limited and we recommend minibuses or taxis for those not staying.
With only a small number of ceremonies hosted annually, we recommend booking well in advance to secure your preferred date.
We love the atmosphere that real flames bring and are happy to have them on site, however we do have some guidelines that need to be met when working with real flame candles.
You can have whatever style of entertainment you wish – from live acoustic throughout the day, bands, DJ or a mix of both. If you fancy something a little more low-key, then you can utilise our in-house speaker system.
No. As we are a working farm, where surrounding fields are used with rare breeds, we do not allow any form of fireworks at Telfit, including sparklers and paper Chinese lanterns.
Yes you are, on the proviso that all empty canisters are collected and disposed of via our onsite planner Nikki .
As part of your wedding package we provide you with a bag of logs to use on each of our two firepits. Any additional bags are billed to you at the end of your stay.
The Cart House and Milking Parlour is available from midday the day before your wedding to allow you time to arrange any styling. The main house is then accessible from 3pm.
You need to have left the property by 10am on the day of your departure to allow the cleaning team sufficient time to prepare everything for the next guests.
The venue is located 7 miles from Richmond and 10 miles from Leyburn. Darlington train station is 20 miles (40 minute drive) and Northallerton 23 miles (45 minute drive) with direct trains to London or Edinburgh. The nearest airports are Durham Tees Valley, Newcastle or Leeds Bradford.
